Permanent makeup is a huge decision and you probably have a few questions. The most commonly asked questions are below but if your questions isn't answered, please reach out to me today!
Who is your permanent makeup artist?
Hi! I'm Ashley, your permanent makeup artist as seen on the right of the screen. I received an advanced education in permanent makeup. While tattooing and permanent makeup is not regulated in the state of Idaho, my education meets federal guidelines and recommendations in those areas. I am also a licensed esthetician and have intimate knowledge of the skin and how to properly treat it while implanting pigment.
How long will it last?
With proper annual touch ups, you will wake up looking amazing and fresh every morning. However, if you get tired of the look I helped you achieve, the retention will fade gradually over time. For powder brows, combo brows, eyeliner, and lips, a touch up is recommended every 12-18 months depending on your skin type and care of your permanent makeup. Microblading needs to be touched up every 6-12 months due to it's shallow implantation.
How will I know if I'm a candidate?
I will help assess and determine your candidacy at your appointment as well as help you select the style of service that will best suite and compliment your skin type, lifestyle, facial structure, and permanent makeup goals. Individuals who are over the age of 75, use blood thinning medications, or who have transferable blood diseases such as HIV/Aids are not candidates.
Does it hurt?
Your comfort is a top priority so I use numbing solutions during all of my permanent makeup procedures including a double numbing process for the eyes and lips as they are more sensitive and swell more easily.
What kind of pigments do you use?
I use carbon based (also known as organic) pigments. I use these pigments because they stay more true to their color as they age, stay darker for longer, and tend to move around less in the skin.
